Event Terms and Conditions

 

  1. General Information
      a) The event (“Event“) is a boat cruise organized by Moreton Island Adventures Pty Ltd ACN 078 206 078 (“Organiser“) and will take place on 31 August from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
      b) The Event will depart from the Kingsford Smith River Hub and return to the same location.
      c) This event is encouraged to be attended by individuals aged 18 years or older.

 

  2. Ticketing and Attendance

      a) Tickets are completely transferable. Tickets are non-refundable, except as required by law.
      b) Attendees must present a valid government-issued ID and the ticket for entry.
      c) The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee from the Event for any reason, including but not limited to intoxication, unruly behaviour, or failure to comply with Event rules, without any refund.
 
  3. Behaviour and Safety
 
      a) In the event of an emergency, attendees must follow the directions of the crew.
      b) Attendees must behave respectfully towards staff, crew members, and fellow attendees.
      c) Dangerous or illegal activities, including but not limited to drug use, fighting, or vandalism, are strictly prohibited.
      d) Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated smoking areas on the boat.
      e) Attendees are not permitted to bring weapons, illegal substances, or any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the crew.
 
  4. Alcohol Policy
 
      a) Alcohol will be served during the Event to attendees who are 18 years of age or older.
      b) Attendees are responsible for drinking responsibly and in moderation.
      c) The Organiser reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any attendee who appears intoxicated or unable to safely consume alcohol.
      d) The Event is taking place on a licensed premises, and it is prohibited to consume your own alcohol on board. The Organiser reserves the right to inspect bags and confiscate any unauthorized alcohol.
 
  5. Liability
 
      a) Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk.
      b) To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser excludes all liability for loss, injury, or damage to personal property during the event, including any loss caused by negligence on the part of the Organiser.
      c) The attendee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any loss or injury to property or person caused by another attendee during the event.
 
  6. Weather and Event Changes
     
      a) The Event is subject to weather conditions and other circumstances beyond the Organiser‘s control.
      b) In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, attendees will be notified via the contact information provided during ticket purchase.
 
  7. Photography and Media
 
      a) By attending the Event, attendees consent to be photographed and/or recorded for promotional and marketing purposes.
      b) Attendees agree that any photographs or recordings taken during the Event may be used by the Organiser without compensation.
 
  8. Miscellaneous
 
      a) These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the attendee and the Organiser regarding the Event.
      b) The Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with amendments taking effect immediately upon posting.
